    Within the Razer BlackWidow V4 75%, the underside of its printed circuit board (PCB) has a thick layer of fire-resistant tape attached, which is used to enhance the typing acoustics of the keyboard. The tape absorbs higher frequency sounds and reflects lower frequencies back to the user, producing a satisfying ‘poppy’ typing sound. Commonly referred to as ‘tape mod’, most standard keyboards need to be disassembled for the tape to be applied. However, as this feature is already present in the Razer BlackWidow V4 75%, you can enjoy the benefits of a tape mod keyboard right out of the box.
