Our SiWx917 SoC is our lowest power Wi-Fi 6 SoC, ideal for ultra-low power IoT wireless devices using Wi-Fi®, Bluetooth, Matter, and IP networking for secure cloud connectivity. It is optimal for developing battery operated devices that need long battery life. SiWx917 SoC includes an ultra-low power Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth Low Energy (LE) 5.4 wireless CPU subsystem, and an integrated micro-controller (MCU) application subsystem, security, peripherals and power management subsystem all in a single 7x7 mm QFN package. The wireless subsystem consists of a multi-threaded processor (ThreadArch®) running up to 160 MHz, baseband digital signal processing, analog front end, 2.4 GHz RF transceiver and integrated power amplifier. The application subsystem consists of an ARM® Cortex®-M4F running up to 180 MHz, embedded SRAM, FLASH, and Sensor Hub. The ARM® Cortex®-M4F is dedicated for peripheral and application-related processing, while the ThreadArch® runs the wireless and networking stacks on independent threads, thus providing a fully integrated solution that is ready for a wide range of embedded wireless IoT applications.

The ZG28 is an ideal platform for Z-Wave applications that require more Flash, RAM and GPIO than the ZG23 device. The ZG28 is pin compatible with the ZG23 in the 6x6 QFN48 package. The EFR32BG27 family of wireless SoCs opens up new possibilities by offering an ultra-small WLCSP package (2.3 mm x 2.6 mm) capable of running on button cell batteries. Now device makers can address applications with extremely small form-factor requirements without sacrificing performance and security. The BG27 Bluetooth SoC features an integrated DCDC boost that allows operation down to 0.8 volts, enabling support for single-cell alkaline and 1.5-volt button cell batteries that are typically used in medical applications for battery-operated patches and continuous glucose monitoring (CGM) devices. Additionally, the wakeup pin on the BG27 allows products in a warehouse or transit to remain off for months, consuming less than 20 nA, ensuring the battery remains fully charged for use. The integrated coulomb counter enables accurate battery level monitoring to avoid unexpected battery depletion for critical applications. The multi-core device has efficient ARM Cortex®-M33 running up to 78 MHz and with 1024 kB of Flash and 256 kB of RAM. The low active and sleep currents make it ideal for battery operated end devices like sensors including door, window, and temperature sensors devices, while the link budget of 128.6 dBm provides long range and reliable communication. The dedicated security core supports our Secure Vault™ High, bringing industry leading IoT security to the device to protect wireless data and the device from both remote and local attacks.
